best chrome paint?

Default best chrome paint?

have any of you guys played around with chrome paint? i was thinking about paint some stuff chrome in the car. do you guys know of any good brands to get?

I have used a few Chrome paints from Krylon to Durapaint. To be honest they all are about the same from my use. They are a silver. I would say a slightly brighter silver then regular silver paint.

The cons I have noticed are if you use clear coat on top of the chrome paint. Your chrome paint is literally dark flat grey. It totally loses its luster (what little it had) So if you do choose to use it I would suggest not clear coating it.

Don't get me wrong I like the paint and have used it on my car quite a bit. Just don't expect that super smooth mirror like finish.
