What the hell??? Scion1616 - the gub'ment letting you surf the web on my taxpayer dime now?!? LOL ....

I finally got a look at Scion1616's box tonight at the gas station by my house / his station (while a 3rd one stopped for gas.... not bad for a small island!)

His box looks a lot better in person - looks good in the photos though too. his bag setup is QUICK, almost instant up. The NISH front splitter looks good in person, the silver CF works well with the PW paint. He told me the billet grille was a T-Rex (that right 1616?) - it looks REALLY close to the OEM peice, I knew my lower two sucked, but compared to his, mine are WAY off (I already knew it, just didn't like to face it... but they're coming off soon...)

All in all - it's a good lookin' box real world box (the green one don't get my vote - far to unrealistic). The bags just put it over the top though... now my daughters think my box aint crap since it can't hit the ground with a button...

Definately looking forward to getting a better look at it at a later date.

he meant "necessity" if wanted to be in top percentile of modified xB's (I'm assuming). Kinda like entering a car show now... and not having in-car video or wheels bigger than 15"... judges probably wouldn't bother looking at your car

 

Hmm, I think it all depends on one's likes and dislikes. Too many factors like drop, air, ViP, Spo Com, Dubs, daily driver, show only, multi-tone, single color, ICE, and on, and on, and on.

 

Because it's overdone and hideous, not to mention boring. I don't see anything special about a bunch of interior paint, a retarded sound system, and air suspension. All I see when I look at that monstrosity is someone with a bunch of money and not enough originality.

No originality can you find another air set up like his? He was also the first XB out there with those kinds of mods so that it pretty original. Man you definatly drink to much haterade. Don't start on mine I know you already hate mine.

Althou, I live in Central FL, I rarely go to events//shows. I wasn't at that one. The last show I went to and was in was one at Old Town wayyy back in July.

I just don't believe in doing thing for the sake of doing them, and I'm big on subtlety. That green box has nice air ride and a crazy sound system, but they kill it with the ridiculously loud green paint all over the interior and exterior.
