...Billet Grill MOD...DOES NOT WORK...
The billet grills I have seen here are all crome. I tried this look for a few months, and enjoyed the bling for a while, but I like the black color of the stock lower grills n my Polar White XB. So, I painted my billet grills black.

Or the original look of crome / bling....

Let me hear all opinions, but don't say "DROP IT" cause it's got H-Tech's now.

I had to use a power drill and grinder girl wheel to sand down the grill.
I used several coats of Kryola black and a clear coat.
My painting skills are poor, but this was sort of easy.
I had the grills off for the hot summer months, maximum air flow into the radiators.
Post p photo's of all three grills 'de-bling-a fied'.

I dont know if your the first to do this, but there are companies that sell xB billet grilles powdercoated black. Looks way better now. Custom, but it looks almost factory.
Nice job.
Nice job.
Yes, I do mean Krylon.
If I could do it over, I would have bought hem powercoated black in the first place.
They can be mounted without removing the bumper cover, IF you have thin forearms.
You can reach up and adfix the hardware.

I had to tilt my bumper forward to put the grills on.
Time to go to Advance auto and get some black paint!
I have OEM foglights under there, I fabricated fog light covers to fit over the foglights, a white set and a black set.
THIS GRILL MOD IS NO GOOD!! DO NOT DO THIS or you will be SORRY!
Every time a leaf hist my painted bilet grills, paint chips off. I am using up all my ink in my black sharpie marker to touch-up the billet grills.
Ask the vendor, grill4you or any of the others, if they can powercoat a set for you.
As I recall, the text of thier E-Bay listing invites you to ask about powercoating.
Sorry that I ever did this, so don't anyone do what I done did.
