Default Billet Grill Question (And I hate my Sonar Headlights too!)

Am I just installing it wrong, or, do most of the ebay upper billet grills not fit right.
I bought one from x3 racing. I took out my OEM grill and the only tabs on the new grill were at the top to attach to the headlight. Nothing at the bottom? WTF? three-quarters of the way down the grill is what looks like a screw hole on either end. It SORTA lines up with two of the mounting tabs for the front bumper, but, there was no 'L' shaped bracket included in my kit. Now, when I shut my hood, the entire grill arcs upwards (the top two bars alsmot disappear behind/under the hood).
Did I install it wrong? The 4 runner here at work has the grills installed OVER the OEM grill. Or do I just have a crappy grill?

BTW, I also hate my Sonar headlights. Ironically the brand is Sonar as sound waves are the only way to see through this underwater aquarium of a headlight. Craptacular!

The condensation hasnt started yet in this pic as the headlights are new, but, you can see how the grill arcs (look near the headlights...you see bars and then POOF, they are gone)

The old adage... "you get what you pay for" applies here. The ebay grills are crap. All of the people I have seen that installed them ended up using zip ties to hold them in place. Now THAT is the definition of quality.

I def. agree... you get what you pay for. No offense but the stock grill looks way better than what you have on there now. It looks more than just arched... the grill just looks beat up.

sorry, I don't mean to be rude.... just voicing my opinion.
