Sure it can be done. But, I'm pretty sure you have to remove the bumper bars in order to do it. I value my life too much not to have the bumper reinforcement bar behind the cover.

That is so fukn wrong. My body kit did not have the reinforcement bars when I got nailed and my air bags DID NOT GO OFF. This was probably the first time of my 9 month scion ownership that I actually decided to wear a seat belt.

My car was hit hard enought that the rear frame was pushed in 2" and the entire electrical system was fried. I was also pushed into the person in front of me which completely ripped off my air conditioner and bent my radiator up and support brackets.

Before you say anything that could get this man killed, know what the hell your talking about.

For a bodykit, you will need to extend the kit 2" front and back. You DO NOT have to remove the reinforcement bar. All you have to do is shave off some of the endings so that it doesn't extend out that far. This is what I will have for my next body kit.

I don't know the price of a full bumper stretch but to give you an idea...for the veilside LIP kit, it cost $250 more than a basic install/paint job to stretch the front and rear pieces. It will mainly depend on the complexity of the kit and also the size difference. Your probably looking at $4-500 extra
