i am wanting to go a little more boso with my box, but not extreme...has anyone made an extention for the TRD exhaust? I think it would be cool, i dont want anything really extreme just something like this:



i think that would look killer on my box, would i just go to an exhaust shop and have them build it to my specs or what? i am just gonna bolt it to my stock TRD tip using 2 bolts or a pin going thru from one end to the other...

 

all the boso tips out there are all custom, go to your local shop and have them fab you up one.

 

I wanted to do something similar, maybe half that length, though.

 

reminds me of a stinger exhaust they used to put on the old VW bugs.

 

When I can finally afford to get my VW bus ( pre-'68 ) the good old stinger exhaust will be one of my spare exausts - always loved it - and damn loud too:

 

I always ran stingers on my old air cooled dubs. I like the look on the B, I'm with Burst though, i'd do a little smaller than the one pictured, but that looks good. I say DOIT!

 

im going to an exhaust shop after work today and am gonna see if they will do it, it shouldnt be that much, im thinking like 30 bux or so for a 3 foot section of pipe bent at a 45* angle

 

Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think this will look good on your box. Don't think it can pull it off, just my opinion. Not hating though, just saying.

 

yeah bird i know what you mean, thats why i am just getting it to where it will fit over my trd pipe so i can remove it...i just think it will be cool for shows or just to ride around with, and when i get tired of it, just take it off and voila

I like some of the boso exhausts but I wouldn't put it on my car. I like the one's that are about 1-2 feet long and cut at an angle.
