Default Calling Lambo Door Guru's

Hey all, I bought these hinges off ebay a couple months ago. The guy I got them from didn't list a brand for them, and they didn't come with the shocks. No problem right...? So I got the hinges and bought a set of M10 replacement shocks. When I got the hinge on the door won't stay up. I can manually get the door up but im not understanding it (I'm an extreme newb when it comes to these doors). SOOO I was calling on everyone with Lambo's to guide me in the right direction, even if the shocks are wrong and I need different ones (A website would be very helpful).

I really don't want any one on here "Lambo's are ___ blah blah blah!" I'm just looking for some help.

Thanks!

Hinges when I got them....

Shocks....

How "I" put it together.....

from the last picture you posted, it definitely looks like the shock is just sitting there and not doing anything!

both ends have to be attatched, it must retract when the door is closed, and extended when open to acctually be able to hold the door up!

not knocking on lambo doors! i dont really care fro them, but if you were gonna get them anyways, why did you go with cheap ebay bobo kit? should have gone with a reputable company at least!

hope your door doesnt fall off causing some serious damage to your door!

I wasn't really looking for the hinges, just came across them at a really good deal.I just figured since I do a lot of shows this would bring the "wow" factor.

I seen the piece you were talking about ivanbbpr, I'm wondering if I could find just that piece tho.

If you have the dimensions of the piece you are needing, you might be able to get the part done up by a metal fabrication shop. Good luck and post your picks once you get everything done.

i would agree that both ends of the shock "need" to be attached for the shock to work.

another thing if you do plan to use those hinges..

u'll need to get some 12 gauge wires and extend the wires on your doors

im pretty sure hes looking for help and not saying anything about your opinion on the hinges.

but id go with a company with a more repable name. otherwise youll be worrying about foor sway and such, bearings may go out quicker and such.

but each end of the shock needs to be hard attached in order to for the shock to support the doors weight.
