LMAO...You guys are too much... Anyways, I ordered them yesterday so we will see how they look when I get them. I am NOT going to paint them.

 

Am I the only one who doesn't care if the c/f is painted or not? I think it's nice either way, although my two favorites are 1) I saw a car at a show with a painted hood, but when you opened it, the bottom was c/f, very hot, I think. 2) painting the body part but letting some of the c/f still show thru, foe instance, if you have a c/f front & rear bumper, hood, and trunklid, you could have a completely painted car, with c/f racing stripes. Not a big fan of stripes, but it gets across the point.

 

Man, I would get some of those fenders. But I need them in black and silver carbon fibre to match my hood and wing.

 

I don't care to much for the carbon fiber, (on our cars it's so obvious that it's just there for looks) but I like your idea. It's different than the rest of the "look what I just bolted on" stuff. Your idea would actually take some skill and is tastefully subtle.

i wouldnt paint a cf hood or hatch but i would not want some hideous huge piece of non car colored body piece on the front sides . aka fenders , thats doin way too much.

 

I think the fenders and hood combo would look like a euro front clip - flip the hood to open the other way and attach the fenders so its all one piece, a couple quick release tiedowns at the bottom of the fenders... That would be crazy...

I've also seen graphics at a car show that looked like the paint was ripped and there was CF underneath but it was the vinyl CF cuz it was a graphics kit. - it would be sweet to do that look with real CF underneath...

 

I got my fenders...They look awesome. I have to get them put on and get some pictures up...
