Ok guys and gals, I did some searching and didn't find anything on carbon fiber mirrors. I found these on E-Bay and for the price they aren't to bad. Does any have anything similar to this???? Just wondering if these would bolt right onto my xB or not also. Any info would be great.

I think bbist.com sells a carbon mirror, but his are much smaller.

 

Those look really nice, but I can only imagine they are very expensive. For less than $50 these ones look nice. I just don't know if the mirrors are a universal mount or do I have to get specific ones for the xB. It looks like they will fit just fine, the triangle part that attaches to the door looks to be the same size. Is this correct????

 

I'd just wait a bit, the small CF ones you are talking about were for sale on ebay for about $65 not bad.

if your heart isn't set on CF, you can get a set of JDM folding mirrors, kinda cool to watch people's faces when you fold the mirrors in to park... lol

So I still have my orginal question. Will most all mirrors fit any car???? Is the triangle mounting piece of the mirror a pretty universal size or do I need to get exact ones for each car??? It looks like the ones I found on ebay would fit, but I was wondering if they are universal or what. If someone could let me know that would be great.

Actually that is not true. The person has many of the same thing for sale. He puts different car models in the description line so that when people search for there car model it will come up. This same item is listed for a dozen or more cars.............

 

DO NOT BUY THOSE MIRRORS! I bought those exact same mirrors for my Ranger I had before my Scion. I rigged up the blue led to the dome light so when I unlocked the doors it would come on, and I wired the amber led to the turn signals. It was pretty pimp, but it is not real carbon fiber. Around the curves of it, it looks nasty. Also the mirrors are like fun-house mirrors, they are very distorted. It's like they used chrome vinyl covered in glass for the mirror. Any mirror that cheap is not going to be very good. You have been warned.

the cf pattern looks fake... *shrug* I don't know if they'd look good on an xB... maybe on my xA :D

pm squirrel, he has the set from ebay. looks pretty cool but only good for show...cant see anything day to day driving.

 

yeah, the cf is fake and the make on those are actually the same style as the apc version. I saw some on a civic at sea world.
