Is caulking, or rubber? (2004 xB)
Hi All,
On the inside lip of the rear wheel well, there appears to be either caulking or rubber that spans from the front of the wheel well lip to the rear (almost where the plastic bumper mates to the metal). Whatever it is, it's painted over (body color). Do any of the Scion parts specialists in this group know what it is?...and if there's a corresponding part number?
I just picked up my xB from the body shop today to have the rear wheel well repaired (someone hit me), and the amateur that did the work ground down the caulking/rubber on the lip, smoothed it out, then shot it. Needless to say, it looks like it was repaired and more importantly, doesn't match the driver's side. Before I take it back next week to have the job done right, I'd kinda like to have the caulking/rubber in hand so the shop doesn't do something more heinous and call it a repair.
I hope I've been clear enough describing what it is I'm looking for and appreciate any and all help. TIA!
