anybody instal a carbon fiber hatch yet? If so, how does the glass get installed? Durability? Hinges/lock? And, I want to keep the rear wiper... can it be fit? Thanks!

 

A friend of mine installed one. The glass will have to be installed by a glass shop. Everything else is reused except you may need new rear struts.

new rear struts? does it really make that much of a difference?

 

May need is the fragment I should emphasize. I know my buddy had to get new ones because the mounting locations were different or something. I guess it varies depending on which company you buy the hatch from.

mine will be delivered Tuesday and next weekend i will be putting it my lip kit and wiring up the new speakers i put in the back driver and passenger doors and I'm going to do a write up and i will pm you when I'm done
