Well since no one ended up responding to my post on needing help with the aftermarket taillights, I ended up doing it myself. So here is my project of custom taillights made all by myself, not bad for a girl, huh? lol
I had xb reflectors made from a drawing I did and then mounted them in helix housing with stock lens's over them. I will have pictures of them in later with lights on, for right now here is my box with helix smoked taillights the way it sits now.

I like the way the smoked Helix lights look on a PW. I'm thinking of getting the smoked ones also, but the led ones are mighty tempting.

 

Damn that was really clever. I didn't know that the slock covers would fit over the Helix housing... did you use the oven method to get them apart?

Tight work with the "box" reflectors too!

 

I used the oven method for the helix since they are glued and use the tabs. The stock ones however just use the tabs, so they were easy to get off (no oven). The helix lens busted on one of the ones I baked because the tabs were not all off and I was to worried about the glue when pulling on them. Oh well, I wanted to use the helix smoked lens's so you could see the reflector better, but I didn't feel like busting another pair for the price.

And yes I will post night pics, I just have not had the time to get the pics after dark yet.
