everyone rocking my stickers has either my parts or my labor. And if I worked on their car, I did it for free. So they better have my sticker on there.

We'll I was just going by what I remember at the last meet I went to which was like 3 weeks ago and I spoke to 2 people who had the sticker and no product and just said they wanted to help. One also had the bbist sticker as well and no product. It could've changed though, I dunno.

I always thought "Powered by Deez Nutz" brought a certain level of classyness to your car. Heh.

I think I will rock my website on the upper back window. I've heard that putting decals on the paint can lead to some fading issues - like if you take the sticker off a year from now, the paint underneath wont be as faded as the rest of the car and look wierd. Hmmm.

I hope its not like tattoos or doritos - cant just have one.

stickers on tinted windows will do the same thing.

I think that rocking stickers of big name companies like injen, k&n etc...and not having the product is dumb...

but companies like bbist, and randode are grass roots companies, and need some help....

well...I wouldnt call them big names....

A couple of home-made kits and some die cut stickers a big company does not make.

However, I have a lot of respect for these type of operations, since they take a lot of time on the owners part.

And since randode has been such a generous guy to so many people...a lot of people WANT to help him out, whether they can afford some parts from him or not.

When I see the new randode turbo kit has finally sold over 1000 units...then I would say that he has crossed into the realm of big company.

I used to be one of these companies... I know how it goes...Although I didnt do car performance, I did Paintball gun performance....

It got to the point that I was doing about 1000 dollars worth of business every week...WHY? because I treated people right, gave away a lot of labor, and parts, and made quality parts that people wanted. My turn around time was better than anyone in the business, and I was a one man operation...going to college full time.

Well, the company that manufactured the guns caught wind of the improvements i was making...and making a lot of money off of....and decided to incorporate a lot of the ideas into the following year's design,...

I was in business for three years...and then one year I was out of business within the time span of a couple weeks when the new years model was released.

Easy come, easy go....but i had fun while it lasted. these kind of operations are a ton of work, a ton of fun, and always need a ton of help.

Ill always offer to help out start up guys like randode.

So the tint can fade around the sticker too? I guess I can live with that (same with the paint.) I'm just worried about losing my URL somehow - like my creditcard not goin thru on an auto-payment and having some url stuck on my car that i dont own anymore. doh!

Thx for all the advice everyone.

Back when I was racing, the answer was "to get contingency money." Many product manufacturers didn't care if you ran their product as long as you had the sticker and didn't run a competing product's sticker at the same time.

I like to keep it clean.

The only reason why people (imo) would want to rock stickers and decals all over their cars if they were SPONSORED...that's it.

Because if you aren't sponsored and have to PAY for the products you have on your car, what's the point...?

Also...if you have all kinds of stickers and decals everywhere--I guess your car can't stand out on it's own merits, hence the pile of stickers to attract attention. Personally, I leave the eye catching up to the car itself.

Anyone with graphics like those is bound to get attention. Is there a site and how much. I've always wanted to find something like that, but a half naked girl across the side, as well as inside...eh eh eh. Anyone now a place in So.Cal?

decals and stickers are all a matter of taste, and to eachis most of the sticker I have gotten from products over the years are my roll away, or under the hood. Unfortunately sticker also draw attention from who aren't willing to work so hard to buy the products and don't think twice about about breaking in and damading the car to get at the products and you, by damaging your pride and joy.

I feel that if iam not getting payed to run the product then I don't advertise. Randode and bbist and other who making and distrubuting products, you guys are the best and I salute you, you are the exception to my feelings about cash for advertising. Bill Turner

Here's a site I looked at where you can order custom stickers online from:

http://www.decalkits.com/customdecals.html

I have NO idea if they're any good though - but its something. They also can make those ones where a guy (not calvin tho) is ____ing on something. Ya, sweet.
