you definetly live up to the "ricer" in your user name. Lambo doors are usually regarded as "played out" by many but its your car...

Gullwing doors? I think the gullwing doors would look kinda cool, but you wouldn't be able to get out of tight parking spots anymore.

Maybe I'm just too low-key, but I don't think those types of modifications should ever be made to an xB... lambo doors on a tC... I can see that, but when you have 4 doors, it's just... too weird.

You mean gullwing doors like on a "Delorean" they were first done in the 1950's on the Mercedes 300SL....They would like kinda odd I think on the XB IMO

I doubt the roofline would support it.

I was going through the same thoughts yesterday at MIR... I am debating on lambo or suicide doors for the tC... I think lambo would be the best lookin.

My friend had done lambos (think he is selling the kit. he traded in his box and put it back to stock)
just imagine you get stopped by a cop and he tries to pull you out of the car...(for those that don't know the doors only open about 10-12 inches. it's a real pain in the a$$)

gulls would be interesting, reinforceing to roof would be a requirement.

One vote for rear suicides. They're just classier.

The gullwing/lambo ones are a safety hazard and a pain in the ___ when parking.

Don't shave the door handles either. I heard about someone (friend of a friend of a friend, you know how it goes) whose truck flipped over and caught fire. Nobody could get him out of the car because the handles were shaved and the electrical system was fried, so he laid there unconscious while his friends watched him burn to death.

Couldn't you just kick in a window? They've still got inside door handles usually?

Just took my idea. I guess people panic and don't think sometimes of the easy solution. To be honest if you car is flipped upside down i doubt your door is goign to open if you have lambo, suicide, or stock doors.

I'd like to see some kind of "dutch door" for the rear. Something like some Astro's and (I think) Excursions have. Something where the upper half of the lift gate opens upward and the lower portion is split in the middle and opens like regular doors. Or something like Blazers have where the upper half goes up and the lower part goes down.

how many of the people have lambo doors on the xB???
thats what i am talking about.
i've got a friend with lambos on a 350z. the door opens (like normal) about 2 feet. enough to get in and out comfortably.
the xB lambo's only open about 10-12 inches, not enough for me....

i am talking from experience, getting in and out of the xB with lambos is a pain. best done on a show only car...
other cars are better suited for lambos, not the xB
