Default EDIT: INSTALLED MY STRUP EXHAUST/HEADER!! :)

Hey everybody, well I FINALLY got a Strup header/exhaust, i got it under a partial sponsorship, so i got them both at an AMAZING PRICE! [THANKS CHARLIE!!] well what i was wondering, is i will be receiving them on monday, (the package is in albuquerque right now so i wont have it till monday) but all i can say is super fast shipping, anyway BACK ON TOPIC, is it easy to install it myself? or do i have to have some special tools and a lift and everything to put the headers/exhaust on?? please get back to me all you DIY'ers (well whoever has installed their own parts) so please let me know if i can do it for myself free, or i have to go to a muffler shop to get it put on?

THANKS!

hey if you look under the tech section there are DIY for the header and exhaust. The exhaust is really easy, its just bolt on. As far as the header, its just in a tight spot but should be fairly easy looking at the DIY. Just watch out for the O2 sensor on the bottom, but looks easy. my exhaust came with my RS 2.0 but i have looked at it and it was straight bolt on

^^ yeah... easy, the hardest part is the 2 lower (sprung) header flange bolts, not saying any of its that hard,
but thats about it.. the exhaust is one bolt & 2 hangers..

Hell yeah, it was awesome, i took 23 minutes to put this bad boy on, im waiting till tomorrow morning to put the header on but the exhaust sounds AMAZING! it has a deep rumble, no way does it sound like some little ricer car, it is FAR from that so i HIGHLY RECOMMEND STRUP!!
