hey everyone, a few months ago i bought some replacement white LED 194s from ebay and put them in the small side-marker turn signals and in the housing above the license plate. after a few weeks the ones in the license plate housing either burned out or started to flicker crazily. i was really disappointed because i loved how bright they were and i really liked the blue/white color they gave off.

i figured that i bought a bad pair so i bought two more and after a few more weeks the same stuff happened. one of the lights totally burned out and then the other flickered constantly. i took them out and inspected them and they looked fine... i couldn't see any damage. does anyone have any ideas about this?

i've seen some talk on the board about LEDs from varad... do you think they would work better / last longer?

I don't know about the ones you bought but I know ours don't flicker :shrug:
