Do the japan xb's have toyota badges instead of scion? Clear cornered headlights? anything? I know they are called bb in japan. Basically what would you need to change if you were doing a jdm conversion to the exterior (stock toyota parts though, not jdm companies like fabolous, damd, etc..).

 

Different Head Lights. Different stock colors. No refelctore on rear quarter pannel bumper part. HID as a option. Wipers facing the opposite way. bB badge on front & back of car. Whole different interior http://toyota.jp/bb/interior/index.html & there might be more, but that mostly seems to be the stock stuff. There are options to add to the body that cant be had in america, but you said stock so...

Chucksu put that well. Biggest diff that I always notice is that the plate is on the bumper and not on the hatch. As for the headlights, they look exactly like ours now. Not much difference.

Yea on the new ones. Thats another thing that needs to be clarified by the way. Theres two versions and one differs from two a lot. Plate location, lights, etc...

Im not sure of the body code, I just call them Gen 1 & Gen 2. I love Gen ones, but seeing that would be way to much work to make our modified Gen 2 look like a Gen 1.

The biggest problems with the bumpers & stuff, is the added crash crap we have. So it makes for a little more work to get the JDM stuff to bolt up. As for the bench seat remark, thats interior. If you get down to stuff like that, there is a whole list of what the bB has inside that we dont even have options for. The main key fact is that all bBs are auto with a column mounted shifter & option for AWD.
