Default ...FAB WING QUESTION w/PHOTOS...

In the first picture, you can see the gap that I am worried about. Just above the rear window, the wing does not touch the hatch all the way across. You need to open the hatch to see it. The double sided tape is not touching anything.

QUESTION: Is there any glue or caulk I can put in there that will be safe for the paint?
Any kind of glue gun? Or caulk gun I can use for that? Also the circle around the rear washer squirter is too big, there is a spot at the top that I would like to fill with caulk or glue so killer bees don't make a hive in there. Let me know what you all think.

And just enjoy the other five photos.

hmm interesting. you could possibly get some thicker 3m tape that would stick more?

im not sure thats weird. i have the newly designed Scionfx wing at my house thats going on friday night. its like the Fab wing and supposedly have NO fitment issues anymore. ill tell everyone how it goes in a seperate thread once it goes up.

best of luck on your search though. i hope i wont need it.

i had the same issue with mine wing. I just used thicker double sided tape and it sloved the problem! i wouldnt worry bout it too much though cause the 2 clips on the side seems strong enough to hold the wing.

Yea don't worry about it at all. Every Fab wing I have seen has had this problem of the gap being there. Ive got it to. Don't worry, as long as you put double sided tap all around and the clips as well, it won't fall of.

I have the same problem but ended up installing a 1/8" shim along the whole edge. Then got some white paintable caulk to give it a finish look.
