Default ...Fabulous Wing Spoils Hawk....

Well here it is. Painted and installed. It was not easy, painting took two tries and was $150. The installation was also not easy. The passinger side was good, but the driver side had a hole that was too small for the clip to go into. I had to file a bigger opening in the carbon fiber wing so the clip would fit into it. I don't have a file, round would have been right, instead I had to use a nail clipper file and a screw driver. Carbon fiber stinks when filed. The clips are secured with small allen pins screwed in, but no key was provided. The driver side clip twisted up and did not stay flat against the wing. I used all of the two-sided tape that was provided and some of my own. It would have been helpfull to know where I should have taped the wing. When the hatch is open, you can look up to the part near the rear window and see about a 1/2 inch gap all the way accross where the tape is not touching anything.

Fab Wing: $314 bBist.com..... Paint: $150 Maaco..... Total=$464 WAY out of budget!

I started this project looking at the $210 white wing from StreetConcepts.com. That was in my budget but it came with no hardware and was not 068 Polar White.

Carbon Fiber isnt very good for your lungs when you sand on it. (or your skin) Looks good though...a drop and you/'ll be golden. :D

actually i was amazed when i got it cuz it rained/ and went through washes and i didnt know how the engine bay stayed dry. . but the water does barely miss everything and drain between the motor and radiator the only bad thing it if you get some intense rains the mass air flow sensor tends to get a little wet but this is with my weapon-r intake. i dont know about any other intakes and how their set up. pics of my car are at the bottom just click the www link and itll take you to my cardomain page. if you would like any more im sure i can get you some after sunday cuz of englisotown nj exposed
