As you can see, this is just a test fitment. it was hot at 8:30 at night (around 85-90) and the fire ants would attack me if i sat still for a while. so here we are!!!!

im gonna drill into the car later next week when its cooler (in SE North Carolina, yeah right )then send the car out for paint one day. might get the hood spoiler and type I spoiler before sending it out.

IMO, I really dont think you need fender flares with 501's. They were made with a less aggressive offset so they'd be flush with the stock fenders. But...if you like it, go for it. :D

^^ i agree. i think all you would have needed was to lower it a bit.

well lowering is coming soon. i got a killer deal on flares that were already fitted and preped to paint. with the 195/50's i have, they stretch past the fender about 1/2 inch. i said why not. once their bolted, painted and the car is slammed, it will look better.

this is a very very slow build due to a crap job and the NC heat and random t-storms.

plus with a newborn, car tuining comes later. thanks for looking though

So the front is going to be at a 2.2 and the rear 1.5. That should give you a nice raked look. Can't wait to see it.

UPDATE!!!

flares will be in tomorrow morning. it rained today so the baking process (whatever that is) was extra slow with the humidity and stuff.

but in other news a 10ft A frame ladder fell on the side of my roof at work while i was on lunch. due to a random gust of wind and 15min thunderstorm. (thats living on the coast :-/ )
chipping the paint and sliding down my window hitting the body again. ill post pics when i get a chance. plus i have to pay cash to get this fixed. its going to be expensive i think :-(

update!

i got the flares today but they were the wrong color :-(

the owner of the body shop dropped them off and noticed the color was off. (i didn't notice at all) it was painted 3Q2 instead of 3P2. a very nice color called Black Garnet Pearl. but he will return with them either tomorrow or Thursday. hopefully just in time for my s-techs to arrive :-)
