Default Fender Flares Info

Anyone know where to get these fender flares? Preferably not in CF.

I've searched around, but it seems most flares look way bigger than these. Maybe we can gather a list of the diferent brands, install notes, prices, etc...[/url]

CFType I think... The same place that makes the carbon ones also sells the fiberglass ones. THey just dont advertise them. Email them and he will get back to you with a price on them.

Rico is one of the few people that I feel will ever need them I know ebay sells the ones that longo had on his xB.

I can see it now with everyone: Fender flares... camber... and 40 offset .

Rico, yours will look sweet I'm sure I cant wait to see it

Hey, I'm just asking around. Let's not jump to conclusions!

So, has anyone with fender flares, actually mofidied the fenders underneath? What kind of body work needs to be done?

Yes, I think this is the best way. I've researched it a little, and all the fender flares out there are just tacked on. If you want them to be fully functional, you'd have to modify the body anyways. So, might as well just make the body flare out with some stretching and pulling (and a little re-painting)- it's cleaner and more custom that way.

there are other fender flares which are called the warlock fender flares for the Xb if thats something your looking for in a fender flare not sure about how it looks undernieth but ive seen it on a yellow box painted black in person and it looks nice..

these flares run for 300.00 at racingsolution.com that ive searched thus far

to make them not look like a add on piece you could if you dont want them as far out you could shorten them and mold it inot the body......just ideas

The version on the Longo scion are just simply to big - and made to look worse with the wheels still at a stock offset. The red ones are at least a little more subtle - although a higher offset will still be required to keep them from looking stupid.

If you're at all handy with 'glass, I would go with the suggestion of making your own (*hint*, if you're just gonna make ONE set for yourself... "surfboard foam" - carve them to taste, 'glass, sand, paint, install.)

- the red bB in the photo above and the red bB in the auction ... two different but VERY similar cars.

I've seen a rear view of the red Work bB - exhaust exits the same as a USDM model - the bB in the auction is an AWD model (and the exhaust exits on the left on AWD's [that's not shown in the auction, but does say it's an AWD]) - and not to mention the windows in the auction are from a NCP31, the Work's windows are from a NCP30 (and much better looking IMHO....)

yeah, i was asking about window difference between NCP30 and NCP31. its rather obvious that the car has a lot of mods. i'm not entirely stupid.

NCP30 are clear. NCP31 are tinted.

thats the basic break down as far as windows are concerned.

I like the small dish wheels. They are cool. I would put them on an xA
