if some one can help. i want fender flares and love the BBist ones. but have questions about installations. i know they are bolt on, but don i have to cut anything? not the flares, but the box that is.

you do have the option to bolt in on. Now cutting the stock fenders, thats really up to you. The pics I posted with the BSP xB, his fender are all still there. He never cut it, BUT the flares are bolted on. I've seen some xB's that have the same flares just 3m'd on. again thats up to you. Hope I helped out a bit.

my box is hecka low and have problems rubbing, if i get fender flares, won't i have to cut at least some of the bottom section of the fender so the wheel won't rub against it?

if any of the scion fender flare were real flares instead of just stick on crap..... then yes you'd remove some fender.

man ...i wonder how they would look with 501s.hopefully not to much of a difference.maybe a flair that sits closer to the body would be better.what do you guys think?

I like the look of the bbist flares. If you flare, you may as well cut your fenders out.

but all the flares. or almost all of them are just stick ons that aren't real flares. most have no gap behind then to fill in with tire after you cut the fenders.
