Default Fog Lights - bypassing headlight ON

Just about to install oem fogs. I want to bypass the headlight 'on' requirement, and link to the running lights instead. . I have always done that on other vehicles by simply connecting the live feed to the running lights, Is that possible with the XB prewired harness - without major surgery?

alright you got 2 choices. 1 if you want them on when the parking lights are on, and 1 if you want them on whenever but you have to manually turn them off. there is a "relay" way but because i do not know exactly how it works i wont go into it.

1) when you install them, instead of grounding them at a certain location, just ground them to the turn signals. this will allow them to go on when the running lights or headlights are on, but will go off otherwise.

2)if you want them on whenever like i do, just ground it anywhere. if you already have it installed, just cut the ground wire to the switch and attach it to another spot.

there is a relay if you are fancy that you can install that will make them go on when you want them but will go off when powers cut... but i cant do all that. look for that one later!
