Found these window deflectors on eBay-too cheap or good buy?
anybody got any better ideas than the 3M tape that comes stuck on the back of half of the crap for our cars? Tape seems reliable but sometimes I press down and hear the familiar sticky "snap" that lets me know the tape has come undone.
any ideas?...

The 3M stuff is the best thing going. If it failed chance are the area wan't properly prepped prior to the install. If done right the 3M stuff is hard to beat.
Tru Dat ! 3M is the best at what it does.... period! Surface prep is where the errors are made. Always make sure surface is grease/dirt free. After that I always go over surface with an alcohol pad, then I use a heat gun/hair dryer to heat up the tape and stick, if the temperature is below 50 deg. Letting the car sit in the sun for a few has the same effect. But once that's done, it'll never come off....
Now visor quality, they all do what they were meant to do, installation of product is the deciding factor. Be careful cause some are not as thick as others and will bend during installation if not careful, speaking only of the in-channel type, which is all I've ever used on my vehicles. I've gotten everything on my toaster off eBay except my Tiens & Perrin intake. Once the parts were properly installed, I have never had a problem, well except for one with some Sonars but that's another story...

^^yeah but we are talking about E-SAM replicas which stick to the outside of the window channel. I wouldn't say "never" either because when something DOES happen it can't be never, my question was other ideas not install of the deflectors-anyone can peel and stick.
