It's been pretty slow at work recently so I have to keep myself busy somehow. I'm going to paint it gloss black.

 

Nice! I've been wanting to do that for some time to mine.

What did you use to fill it in?

 

I used some fiber mesh and some plastic body filler called lord fusor plastic finisher.

 

How long did it take you? I'd love to do this.

 

It took me a couple hours to get is to this point. I think I may spread it again just to be sure that it's perfect, because it's gonna be black and any imperfections are gonna show. I'll tell you that I'm an automotive collision tech so this may have gone easier for me than it will for you if you decide to do it. It's not really all that difficult. Just time consuming. If you'd like, I could do a write-up on it.

 

A write up would be great.

 

Oh, wow, I so want that grill, I posted a question a while back if any company sells stock grills like that, just stock with no hole in middle. It's the best looking grill imo.

I like the eye lids. It's funny. I just masked mine out today to smoke them in almost the exact same pattern.

 

I still need to sand out a little dirt, but for the most part it's complete
