Is there a bracket to put on the front license plate or does it just go directly screwed on to the bumper? Thanks for any advice. Or what about relocation

My tC got holes drilled even after I asked them not to do it! Then after I mentioned they did it, they told me it is policy to drill all cars. Although the salesman flat out told me he forgot to mention it to the service guy.... grrrr....

 

But for what I understand than, when you get it at the dealer they just drill the holes in the front bumper right? Its not an actual bracket?

 

No Bracket....Right into the Bumper!

You don't even have to drill it, it is made for the self-tapping screws that you can get at any autoparts store in the lic plate area. The 808 customs bracket is also a nice alternative. There's also a DIY version in the tech section and if you don't want to get that fancy even, just get the washers and long bolts and use the bolts thru the license plate holes...

I've put this post on several threads that were talking about
front license plates. My neighbor decided he didn't want to drill holes into the bumper of a new Ferrari 360 Modena. Instead, he scanned the plate and had an adhesive sticker made. Very aerodynamic and lightweight!!

 

Suggestion.... there is room for it below the fog light spot.

You need to bend the plate to match the curve of the bumper. I used 4 self tapping screws provided by the dealer. I will always need a front plate as I will not be moving to Pennsylvania or Montana.

 

 

So far I have been lucky. I have no plate at all on the front. Does anyone know the consequences if I get pulled over?

I am glad i dont need a plate on the front of the car.

 

In Missouri its called a 'fix it ticket'. you get the ticket, fix the problem and have any officer sign the ticket and mail it in.
