Hey awesome xB peeps. Here's my next thing to tackle. My '05 (I'm the 3rd owner) is missing the two, small front window trim / molding pieces that cover a little sliver of metal on the exterior door frame. With the plastic trim missing, the metal is essentially a razor blade whenever I'm washing it! Anyone know what that part/piece is called? How to get new ones? Do you even know what I'm talking about? I was at the local Pick-n-Pull this weekend where xB inventory is scarce (good...means they're still on the road). The one '06 they had, only had one of these pieces and it was split and unusable.
Window glass guide? Has plastic cover. Not sure if those can be bought at this point but I am gonna search because one of mine is split. Here is pic....in channel ventguards are molded around them.....

"Window Glass Guide"? That's the ✌️ official ✌️ nomenclature? I'ma look around too.
A Difficult Part to Find because there is more than 1 Official Nomenclature for it.
Depending on the Toyota Site and Parts List it's under. One calls it a:
Door Glass Attaching Clips. Another calls it:
Clip, Door Window Glass, LH
Whether LH (Driver's Side) or RH (Passenger's Side)
I THINK the Toyota Part No. is6236760030
I'm not Positive. So, it's Best to verify with your local Toyota Parts Dealer
and a Toyota Online Parts Source.
Hope that Helps,
MR LUV

Hmm...seems cheap enough if it turns out to not be it. I hate how the little illustrations aren't always 100% the thing you're trying to find. I doesn't look like that main pic, but kinda resembles the little illustration on the left. I saw that main diagram in my searching (with the door exploded view), couldn't exactly make out if that was the piece or not. Thx, I'll check it out.
O/T- Toyota Dealer: this past weekend, I went to one of the local-ish "megaDealers" to pick up a part I ordered online. Holy smokes! They had a legit cafe. A nail salon. A movie theater. A professional looking daycare area! I haven't been to a new car dealership in decades. Kinda blew me away.

If that doesn't work, I have a complete (wrecked) driver's door sitting in my basement with that part still on it. I could pull it off and send it to you.

Aw man. I appreciate that. I think I'm going to venture to the aforementioned megaDealer and see if they'll let me look at one in the package based on that part number...maybe have a nice brunch while I'm there. Hold on to that piece though. At the junkyard, the one I pulled off had a small split in it, but then got totally trashed when I tried to fit it on my car.

O/T- Just Curious. Where is this "megaDealer" with all the Extras?
I wouldn't mind checking it out, say on a future road trip

Ha. It's "Priority Toyota" in Chesapeake, VA so, that'd be quite the road trip. A couple decades ago or so, the owner (whose name escapes me, atm) slowly bought up a bunch of dealerships around this area (Hampton Roads - Chesapeake, Norfolk, Va Beach, Hampton) and went "all - in" on the "for life" guarantees (engines, xmsns, state inspections, etc.). Addtionally, he had manicurists available for people as a perk while they waited on their car to get serviced. I guess that has evolved into these megaplexes where the customer is made comfortable while they loiter.
I live in Hampton where there is a Priority Toyota but it's kinda small and the only reason I schlepped over to Chesapeake to pick up that part was because the online part system showed it in stock there. At the Chesapeake dealership, the Parts Counter was in the center of the main building. Again, I haven't been in dealership since...2007? This place was ginormous. I passed 2 sets of bathrooms before the smell of bacon wafting from the breakfast croissants in the Food Court styled cafe directed me toward the Parts Dept...I then hung a right passed the "Theatre".
Thanx, @MR_LUV ! The part number above is what is required.
I was just looking for the plastic/rubbery piece that goes over the metal clip.
The part is actually the entire clip and it's spring mounted between the window channel groove and window channel rubber.
P/N 62367 60030 LH & RH are same; Little plastic trim tool I got from who-knows-where; Old piece & New piece
Cross-sectional pic printed for me by the Parts Guy at the super-duper-uber Toyota mega-Mart!
Pull down and work the trim tool on each side of the clip to work some "slack" in the rubber. Pull the clip out...*it's got some adhesive on it, so you gotta work against that*...remove/replace.
The new clip slots right back up in the channel and I pressed the rubber up with the trim tool just to make myself feel better.
The Clip, Door Window part was $4.35 ea. Toyota OEM! If you order online, I actually think they're a few cents cheaper.

Cool, gonna order a new pair. The in channel ventguards will make my swap a bit more interesting but will allow me to center the clip in the divot the ventguard has for it on drivers side.

Might be cheaper online.....$3.35 each......but shipping kills that savings.
Yeah, *shout out* to the Priority Toyota of Chesapeake Parts guys. When I was back-n-forthing with them over the phone, one of them actually said, their website is a little cheaper than walking up to the parts counter. Then, when I went to pick it up, it was a different guy than before and he patiently listened to my problem description with a "hmm...let's see" as he was tippity-tappity on his keyboard. In about 4 seconds he had the door/window removal procedure pulled up on his screen and "yep, I'm pretty sure that's it." I asked him if I could have a printout of that page of the procedure...but he had already hit <print> before I finished my question.
O/T: is there anything uglier than the new Camry? (or ANY Camry for that matter?).
