toyota store window spoilers
i am not sure what you call them, but the plastic trim pieces that they sell at the toyota parts shop didn't fit my 06!
they were marked for 2004 xb's and the guy said they should be fine... they were not! Metal tab thingy on the driver's window hits in the wrong spot and wouldn't allow the window to close. Unfortunately, this was not noticeable during test fitting, so I already ruined the tape on one of the pieces..
is there any way i can melt the plastic and form it so it'll work??? I'm willing to try b/c i doubt i'd have any luck at the dealership trying to get my $$ back. I figure I can buy some good 3M double side tape to reapply. Anyone done this recently on an 06?

I was told it was to keep the window tight and stop it from rattling when the window is closed.
It made it to tight with it in as mine does not have the place for them,I have the wade in chanel on mine.
