I will be making my own full splutter out of plexiglass and then having it painted. It will be super easy. Im just going to trace the outline of my bottom lip and then use that as a stencil to cut the plexi in the right shape. Total cost of splitter with materials and paint... $40

Just an idea. I know not everybody has time to do their own fab work.

Good idea.

How are you going to mount it?

Default wind splitter

I had seen these on other xb's but didn't know what they were called. I think it is Evil Dave ( not sure ), that has one made from alunimum checker plate. I remember the photo also had checker plate trim pieces trailing the front wheels, and leading and trailing the rear wheels also. That is what I would go for. Looks good polished. The humps would have to be ground smooth only where it would make contact with the body, for a flush fit.

I will mount the front with splitter rods and then the rear section which will be under the car will get mounted to the factory mounting spots for the lower lip. I dont know if youve been under an xB but its obvious if youve seen it...

you can get them at a number of internet sites. I know they have some carbon ones and also non-carbon on ebay for a decent price. Im going to get mine from Home Depot. You can use what is called a wire turnbuckle and its almost the same thing. I vowed never to put carbon on my ride.... dont ask

I may try making my own. I don't want a Carbon Fiber one because I know I will end up braking it. I may make a pattern out of would and do a plex-a-glass one. Good Idea...Thanks!
