it most likely will be "ok" as you put it. i'm sure you know... you just bought the cheapest of the cheap. so i wouldn't keep my hopes high. cheap crap costs less for a reason.

can i have your OEM grill as long as it's not cracked or broken? i repaint and use them.

Yeah tell me how that $20 one works out!

I need to repaint my stock grille...but I'm too lazy to spray a million layers over the course of a day.

the reason i picked this one is the fact that i have the perrin intake..and the piping and filter is bright red like my wheels.. so with this grill you will be able to see it through the mesh.. i know it isnt actually "JDM" but i mean really.. who cares.. it kinda looks cool. and im not putting it on and being like omg my car is jdm now. i think it will be nice looking.. atleast that is what i hope for.

I think it is rather cool looking IMO. As long as you like it, it should not matter what other people think.

I hope yours fits better than mine did. I bought the same one, and it came with the emblem busted, and a big gouge in it. It didnt' sit straight, when bolted up, it was 1/8" higher on one side. I took it off and put my stock back on.

I thought I remember reading that having the filter exposed in the front like that forces to much air down it and makes it stall. I could be wrong, but you also have to worry about the filter getting wet if it rains.

Ooh, yea. I wouldn't run an open grille with the Perrin intake.

That'd be fine, then. No filter should be that exposed to the elements.

so i got the grill in the mail the other day. it fits pretty darn good. and i found some black gorilla tape for the area where the filter is exposed.. it just rained the other day real hard.. the tape held up perfect and the filter did not get wet.. so im pretty happy with it all.
