yup, I was the only yellow box at the BBQ. The halo wiring wasn't sealed where it enters the housing.

I saw some of the lights like in the auction you listed at the BBQ. Didn't like em as much, but that's just my opinion. Plus there is a $40 price difference.

I have the chrome ones and I was at the BBQ on Sunday too. I was the only one with them. If you go to Barnes and Noble tomorrow night (Friday), you'll see them again, except mine are modified.

No, mine are chrome with the white eyelids... and they're modified because I ripped them apart and installed TSX projectors in them...

That would be maddsciontist. He has the stock headlights retrofitted with M3 projectors and I believe those eyelids are custom made with lexan.

Mine are the chrome ANZOs and they have the eyelids built-in. mpflies2 will have to give you a review on his headlights because mine are retrofitted with Acura TSX HID projectors, Lexus IS300 ballasts and Philips D2S bulbs...

haha, ya, im so anxious. Wednesday can't come soon enough. Curious as to how much money it cost to retrofit HID into the Anzo projectors....

To do it yourself, isn't that bad. I'll give you a generic cost break down:

$200 for the HID optics (projectors or HID reflectors)
$200 for the ballasts
$70 for D2S/D2R bulbs

Those are just generic costs, but that's around the general ballpark. So think of the internals as being around $500... it's really only $200 more than a conversion kit, but if you ever come up north toward Montgomery County, let me know. I'll show you the difference between a kit and a retrofit.
