so dont get an HID kit? im not exactly understanding what your saying, sorry. cuz those ichikoh style lights are appealing to me, but would they work ok with any HID setup?
I think he's saying not to put an HID kit in a head lamp that doesn't have a projector with a built in cut off. I'm looking at these lights:

They are projectors with a nice cut off that I believe would work with an HID kit nicely. I've seen people put HID kits in the dual projectors that you have and it looked fine, no dangerous glare, nice cut off, etc. I see no reason why an HID kit wouldn't work in these new eBay lamps. Those Ichiko style lamps look good, but I wouldn't advise putting an HID kit in them because there is no way to direct the light.
