Anyone have these?
I got a set since they were cheap ($10) and they looked nice. I was thinking of modding them by painting or getting amber overlays for them and didn't want to screw up the stock ones. But after seeing them they look pretty nice clear.

 

Are these the smoked ones or clear?

They do look nice clear. Seems to me at 10 bucks a pop you could afford to screw up a pair. It wouldn't be too much of a hit.

 

I tried overlays once, they don't work well on these so I would reccomend avoiding that route.

 

I used Testors transparent black lacquer to smoke my side markers. It's a pain to get good coverage on the curved edges, however, the face turned out pretty well.

 

I used tamiya smoke on my rear sidemarkers and it's held up for a year so far. I might go that route with the sidemarkers too.

That looks good! That dude makes overlays for everything lol.

 

I installed them, it took all of about 3 minutes
Push the side marker forward, it pops out
Twist the light socket off, twist it back on the new side marker
Pop the new sidemarker in
Enjoy

They fit about as good as the OE one does, but looks alot better
