im putting on my x2 lip kit and the side skirts will not fit . do i have to take off the factory side skirts or do i leave them on . do i have to cut something im lost here . any help

Yup... take the old ones off.

 

i did but when i put up the new skirt thereis a gap at the door sill and when i fell the bottom there is i gap where to old skirts was held in with black round push plugs

My suggestion, considering I haven't installed one personally...
Change the title of your thread to something like:
X-2 Sideskirt Help!
You might get some people who are more familiar with the particular fitment.

 

I'm guessing that if you have to ask whether or not to take the old ones off first, then you shouldn't be installing it. The front and rear lip of that kit have ok fitment, but I have heard horror stories about the sides. I would suggest taking it to a good body shop.
