you're gonna have to open the housing up - which I think is the route that should be done anyway - you're gonna have to no matter what if you want ALL the orange plastic out... may as well do it when the covers off instead of all the extra work of breaking it up.

I did the hammer method and got all the orange out. You will need to use a long thin pair of wire cutters and a long pair of needle nose pliers helps too. Also, I cut up a few shop towels and stuffed them in the hole so that I wouldn't scratch the plastic inside. You may have to push the plastic pieces that hold the orange in place back wards so that it falls behind the housing and then carefully shake the headlight around to get it to where it can be grabbed.

Those little orange plastic tabs shoud fall out. If not, then get in there with a long thin screw driver and carfully nudge them loose. I would not suggest opening the headlight, cause chances are you will never get them to go back together again with a water tight seal. I would say be paitent, and just keep at it, they will fall out eventually.

If you do a search ( which may take awhile ) you will run across a link that someone has pics of the entire thing. Just take a minute or 2 and look deeper into it via the search function, its there.

The post i speak of was originally posted in either Feb. or March of this year i believe.
