so i spray painted my tail lights the other night.

and assuming that it was taped well where i wanted it white. the red paint

seeped through the tape inside and somewhat outside of the lens.

now i ask.how do you remove the red paint.

is this possible or is it time to get new tails?

91% rubbing alcohol will do it.

 

didnt work....tried that and it leave pink residue after wiping

any other suggestions?!?

 

You could try a headlight restoration system...

 

When i painted my lens i had this problem too, but it was minimal. I just use q-tip and paint thinner. Works good. I know the pink residue your talking about, i just kept using paint thinner until it was gone. Your suppose to tape it up good... hope this helps
