Default Hmmm check out this bumper lip

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-06...ayphotohosting

I think I got confused. I'm looking for a new bumper (if you read my other thread, I hit a rabbit and I need to replace it now). All I need is the bottom piece, and I dont know what you technically call the bumper (the whole piece or the bottom or top or watever...)

Now, I was looking at this on ebay, and it says "easy to install (add on)". Does that mean, lets say your car is stock, it "adds on" to what you have? Or do you take off that bottom part? Any other suggestions? I just want to find a cheap but good looking replacement, thanks.

Its a lip. Basically the bottom piece comes off and this piece goes on.

Alright thanks. Its only that bottom part I need since it cracked. I'll keep my eye on those cause they are really cheap, I'd like to get a prepainted one though.

I honestly do NOT like carbon fiber. I like every part on my car to match... Unless its a sweet two tone or something haha.

aftermarket kits will never come pre-painted due to color-matching. keep looking though since i've been wrong before.

Ned, check out the links, they have the lip painted for you and ship it to your door.

Also check the classified section. People are often getting rid of there old lips. You may be able to find a stock one or a new one you like. Ofcourse you prob will have to get it painted but shouldn't be to pricey.

Wow, that lip at intense power is looking good. For $185 and shipping, already painted, I think thats pretty awesome.

I'm still looking around but thats definately an option, I like it. I kind of like a radical racing look. I dont know if I want to sacrifice my nexy few paychecks to get a matching rear (while im at it). I still want to order overlays for my tails, and get wheels this summer (for my birthday maybe? )

i'd hafta paint it, but i think it looks good. kind of a hint of aggressive styling to it, but not overdone.

Exactally, mine is colormatched. I didn't really care for the sideskirts or rear lip, but it is on sale for like 325 shipped for the whole kit!!

So how was installing Microvan? did someone do it for you, or is it easy enough to do yourself?

I did the front and rear myself with no problem. I had to get my neighbor to help with the sides since it was a bit tough to do by myself.

fairly simple to install, had a littl problem with the front bottom grille after I put the lip on. the 2 side pieces will not stay. this is why I made a mesh grille to cover up the bottom.

I read that in another post somewhere. Why did it not stay? Just a different shape, or it was just hard to get back on once the stock lip was taken off?

I'm debating if I should just order the grills while I'm at it too. GAH so much money, and I was planning to save up for wheels. Not to mention I need to save up for another bass guitar cab.
