I was gonna say "you're banned from SL", but looking through the pics (thanks for sharing) it really doesn't look bad at all. I would want to see it in person before deciding to do it on my own xB though; even though $30 isn't a lot of cash it buys a lot of tacos. And damn I love tacos. Nice mod!

what the heck is this stuff?
what do you look for when you go to home depot and what's it applied with? 3m or some kind of adhesive?

It is a seal for the bottom of a door... like a garage door or something. It's applied mostly with 3M tape, though some people have apparently screwed it in to the bottom of the bumper for added attachment.

Though I would imagine you'd only screw it in if you REALLY like it. Even though you'd screw from the bottom up on the bumper and no one would ever know.

so as i was reading this thread earlier i decided....hey, what the heck!?! i'll give it a shot. and if i dont like it, i can just peel it right off...so i went to lowes (nearest home depot is 30 min. away) and got the same stuff (all for $16 instead of 30) and put it on my car...not too shabby!! nice cheap mod to keep the car looking nice! I say give it a whirl, and if you dont like it, you can always take it off later.

as you wish your majesty lol...anyways...just put it on real quick w/ the 3m tape, havent put any screws in it yet, but i might take 2 or so from off the bumper and just run them through the foam instead of drilling new holes, but this will do for now.

This is an interesting mod, have you tried spray painting the rubber material then clear coating to make it glossy and perhaps protect the color? That would be rather slick, imo.
