sup fella's.

i cant seem to find where to find the 2 stock honeycomb inserts. iam missing the

one's on the bottom which is the lower pieces.

is there a place where i can buy them???

or anyone wanna give them for free if no one's using them?

Since those are hard to come by, I HIGHLY doubt that someone will just give them to you free...
They seem to be pretty cheap at the dealership...good luck!

I've had those pieces sitting in my room for 6 months.

For those that want to keep them a bit longer , try putting a small piece of 3m double sided tape on it before install. Keeps mine on and makes it a bit harder for someone to " borrow them" again.
( they got my complete lower grill to replace theirs that was missing)

 

crap! really? that cheap? im gonna get my passenger side ordered next week! it's cheaper then the black door vynal kit. :-/

 

the ones at the dealer now have the little "leash" on them so they clip in the bumber a little better.

 

My xB is an early '04 model and those pieces have the "leash" as well, so I think they all have that. I only found out about it after I found them both hanging on by a thread after hitting some debris. I did eventually lose one side for good.

If I ever fix my front bumper (which has taken tons of abuse in 70k miles) I would upgrade to an aftermarket mesh grille, or black billet.
