Default hoodpins?

ive done a lot of searching on the web and the results have come out pretty much 50/50. im getting a CF hood and wasnt sure if i should install hood pins. ive heard some horror stories of some hood breaking off at high speeds and stuff. if i do get the pins, im planning on getting the slim ones that dont really use pins but rather a locking mechanism

heres the link to the latches i really like

I like those low profile pins. It's definitely recommended for any aftermarket hood.
