Default i swear, one thing after another...

honestly, the past two weeks have definitely been the worst ever for my xB. my windshield was cracked...my hood was buffed to get the scratches out, but they ended up messing it up even worse, and now...to top it all off, i wake up this morning to find a large dent in my passenger side door, with some white paint on top, and a streak of paint going up the door (not very noticeable unless you look hard) and a flat tire. no, i'm not thinking vandalism. i'm thinking someone up at work in the parking lot hit my door a couple of times with theirs, and i ran something over on the way home. i hate feeling like i have a piece of junk car, but crap just keeps happening to it. i dropped my tire off at modica bros, but he said he may have to keep it over til monday cause they were so busy. so i'm riding on a donut, with a dent and someone elses paint on my passenger side door...and i am really starting to wish i never bought a brand new car, cause it's not worth having something new if it's just gonna get messed up. thanks for listening to me vent...or reading, whatever.

One of the reasons I had a Saturn for a while was because I was tired of the door dings (everything plastic except the hood and roof) . Yeah, no more door dings, but I got even more tired of taking it to dealer constantly to fix all the problems. Not to mention the squeaks and rattles. I gave up and decided I'd rather deal with dings over those other problems.

Nothing you can really do about it. I'd just clean it up as best you can cuz it'll get messed up again. Meguiars ScratchX cleans up paint scuffs and minor scratches pretty well. You could try one of those "as seen on tv" dent removers ("dent king" or something).

I'm sorry to hear about all your troubles. Unfortunately those things happen sometimes.

We feel your pain--fix it up and move forward......does your parking lot have a monitoring system? Maybe they have the culprit on tape? Good luck!!

Get a custom paint job. That would get rid of the dents and be awesome. I know thats not realistic. I had an awful week as well so I feel our pain...

The doors on the tC are way too big. They just beg to be smacked into things....

man, i wish i could afford to get a new paint job. that would be awesome. i'm just gonna take it to the body shop and hopefully get it buffed out. as for the tire, modica bros. was really busy so i dropped it off yesterday and he's gonna call me tomorrow when it is fixed. if it is fixable. i've already had to replace one tire, hopefully this one is repairable...oh well.

buy a set of used tires for your stockers, you should be able to get some used ones fairly cheap

yeah...i'm saving right now for new tires for the rims. thats my biggest priority. my tire got fixed and is back on the car. so that's not a problem anymore. took the car to the body shop today and got an estimate...gonna be $300 to get the dent out and repaint the door. but i'm thinking i'm gonna take it somewhere and get the dent popped out (hopefully) and just leave the paint cause it isn't really that noticeable. i figure it's just gonna happen again so i might as well just not worry too much about it.

look up paintless dent repair in your phone book, should run 50 - 150 for the dent, and you could take it to a detail shop and have it buffed
