Default increase, decrease drag???

I recently built a brush guard for my xb. That wasnt enough, so i added 2 flood lights, and then another 2 more to that. My gas milage, actually seems to have increased??? I drive to houston every day, 2 hour drive 1 way. i didnt fill the tank up 100%, but rather 90% and made it to houston with the tank in the same position as if filled 100%. wierd, or just me. The stick way out and up. The air current over the hood it WAY difer now, and the center of the windshield, well, when it rains, the water runs down it while driving, less bugs hit it now to.

Heres where you can see pics of the car.

It is possible. I think it has to do more with driving style + you started with less gas = less weight. Also with the new grill, it lets air through, not blocks it. So the grill could have caused a drop in drag a little.

So are you actually keeping track of your milage, or just
"eye ballin' at the needle"?

You really need several fill ups to get a good idea of your milage
has changed any.

easly done, I drive over 1000 miles a weeks, 200 miles a day. I go through several tanks a week, easly. and it seems to have improved, but the weather, well winds might be affecting, tail wind and all.
