Default Installed ABS XII lip and cleared corners **PICS**

I took a few pics, the weather is terrible so the box is dirty.

Tell me what you think.

Looks good! I just ordered this week the full x2 kit in carbon fiber for my Hot Lava box. How long did it take to install the front lip?? I heard it there maybe a slight problem to fit it correctly to the OEM bottom grill.

thanks, they say that the lip is direct bolt on, but you have to work it a little. It didn't take too long, if you use the OEM bottom grille you will have to make some modifications, but shouldn't be too hard. The CF on your hot lava should look really good!

I bought it from intense motorsports and they have the option to have it painted.

I figured it was easier to have them do it than to mess with finding a local shop.

I spent a total of 2.5 hours putting it on since I've never done it b4.

You will need a friend to help you hold the skirts so you can fit it and mount it on the car.

you should have recieved 4 clips with the skirts. a Z shapped clip with 2 holes on one side and a single big hole on the other.

the 2 hole side is screwed into the skirts with the smaller screws. you will need to place the clip on the inside of the skirt and place screw in from the bottom of the skirt into the clips. this will hold the skirts up. (Make sure you do you fitment to see where is the best place to mount the clips on the skirts so the skirts will have a good place to mount on the bottom of the car.)

in my case, my skirts were not 100% fitment. I would say 95%. this is because I saw gaps under my front and rear doors where the kit meets the car. I had to have my help push the kit in towards the car during mounting and that helped cover the gap up a bit.

Make sure after you mount the clips on the skirts you check the mounting point for the body prior to screw on the skirts.

I imagine it will take you about the same amount of time or even less if you have a friend to assist.

Hope this helped.

if you need any additional help, feel free to call me (erased) from Microvan. I will be glad to explain.

Jim

Hey, that looks pretty good! Does it make the car much lower? Meaning, do you come closer to scraping over speed bumps and driveways? That's my only fear about getting one.

Lovin' the grilles too, bro.

It isn't any lower than what it was. I have the Tanabe NF210's and don't have any trouble unless the speedbump or driveway is really steep.

i have this whole kit also, the brackets that came with it i didn't have to use, its just screwed in and is solid. the only problem i had was the lower grill part in the front so i left it out for now. i will attempt to put it on when i get a chance on my day off. teh kit does look so much better than stock, can't look like everyone else now
