Default Installing lambo doors Xb

Does anyone have and/or know of a link w/pics and detailed instructions on DIY installing lambo doors on a Xb? Any help will be great. We tried but with little success.

Quit while you're still ahead.

They're called Lambo doors, not because of an xB or 4 door Honda civic.

Please don't do it.

Default I can help!

It's really not that hard, the only thing is cutting the fender so it's not that floppy....

If you really need some help i can send you some pictures with a template if you need it. The fender's are $140.00 each, and i went through two before i got it right.

Default Mahalo for the replys

we got it figured out and its on. they tell u to roll the fender but. we don't have access to a tool so we did have to cut the fender like scion4life said. also found some hidden bolts and clips inside the liner and some things that we removed. it looks cool now. Xb can fly its alittle easier than the instructions look. the hardest part is holding the door and hinge to align. heavy!

How come when this subject comes up people don't actually put in helpful information... instead, they tell them not to do the mod they just spent a crapload on.

This isn't a "should I do lambo doors" thread...
It's a "how do I do it" thread.

Anywho.... glad you got it to work.

the hardest part when i've installed lambo's was the lengthening of all the wires. but tehn again i use bolt on kits. verticaldoorsinc rock hard core. a lot more money but SOOOO much easier to do.

I wanna know how you installed them as well. I had 10 kinds of hell installing mine. I had to replace a fender already. What all did you cut and such? Did you have an issue with your shock being in the way of the side marker? I got the kit on and working but I still had clearance issues on the fender and that shock is in the way of my side marker still.
One more thing, you don't have to extend wires on an xB. There are clips inside the door that hold a ton of extra wire in there. All you have to do is pull those clips out and it gives you WAY more than enough wire. So no wire extending needed.

yes what kit are you using?

and how about we call them verticle doors? i mean, a lambo is a lambo, nothing like it. doors open by themselves no pushing up (like alot of verticle door kits). i dunno, maybe its just me but it frusterates me for somereason when people say lambo doors on a tC/xB? but its probably just me.

congrats on getting them installed. looking forward to pix.
