Default installing rear oem spoiler

i just bought a factory rear spoiler from a guy that totalled his xb and i wanna install it on my xb so could anyone tell me the specs for drilling the holes for the oem spoiler. and pics would be nice

try going to your local dealer. It uses a cardboard template and they should have one laying around. We have kept a few just in case of situations like this. They should be able to help you out.

Do not let the dealer install the rear spoiler for you, when I called my dealer they wanted $100 to install the spoiler. My good buddy did it for me and it took him all of maybe 10 minutes and that is including taping down the templates to the car.

yea i kinda of didnt wanna let the dealer install it because of over charging but that was what everyone was telling me to do. Do u think u can give me the specs for drilling the holes and other things i need to do or get for the installation.

I talked to the TOYOTA PARTS guys today and they said the SPOILER comes with a template and complete installation instructions. Shouldn't be too bad, probably just some drilling and retouching of paint on the holes.

wow, there is a kit that you can buy optional? Or does it come with the spoiler when you buy it?
If you would have gotton the Fabulous spoiler instead, there is no drillin and it just clamps to the back of you hatch. You would have to get it painted though.

i didnt buy the spoiler from toyota. i bought it from a guy that crashed his car so i dont have a template or anything. thats why im askin if any one could send me the template or info or something so i can install it already
