How much is it to make your doors the lamborghini Doors? You just have to buy a new hinge right?

I think kits for lambo doors run like $1k or more, but i do know its pricey. Yea pretty much its just a new hinge & maybe an extension for the wiring in the door, but not sure about the extention part.

 

you gotta buy a kit....generally $1,000 plus install unless you do it yourself.....

 

and from what i hear, install is VERY labor intensive. Something like 6 hours per door

you need to remove the front fenders..
cut some 'extra' material behind the fender.
extend all the wires going to the doors (one at a time please..)
roll the fender edge...
and cut off the back of the fender blinkers...

and your done, except for adjusting....


the hinge kit hits the fenders and dimples it...
the door tends to lay on the a-pillar when its up and creases the a-pillar...
the doors only open about 14 - 16 inches

 

I hope you're talking about non-Countach/Diablo/Murcielago Lamborghini doors. :p

 

how about the autoloc motorized lambo doors? anyone have an idea or have the kit?
