Those look cool, my only concern would be that with the plate sticking out like that you'd be more likely to whack it on a curb or another car's bumper. If you did that hard enough you could crack the plastic grill around hte mounts and lose the plate & mounts.

 

Well, if your hitting curbs with your lip, you'll have bigger problems than the plate or grill piece. But you can mount it in the middle grill if you want, i like it down low.

 

Looks nice and clean. I have mine in my lower grille too and have never whacked anything unless the whole box hit it too.

Very nice Personally Designed, Fabricated, and Installed (PDFI). The highest level of DIY. Very nice idea, and carrythrough. Mine came mounted off showroom, with holes, so I will leave it where it is! Initially all I noticed was the GOLD, & 1,2,3,4)! Tried to figure out what that had to do with the Lic plate! Is that a PDFI also? Very professional looking!

 

Thanks. Key Techniques makes color matched bumper plugs if you ever decide to move it. Oh, and the 1,2,3,4 is the Acuair valve block for the air ride system i'm putting together.

What do they screw into?

 

the base is 1.5" dia, you slip them through the grill wherever you want them to sit, then, a 1.5" dia washer goes on the backside, with a lock washer and nut.
