Default M2Motoring CF Fab Wing Install and Old Wing Removal

I will go step by step on How to remove an Old CF Fab wing to installing the New M2motoring wing..

Why did I Change out my wing??

The M2Motoring wing is very will made and every detail has been taken to make sure this wing provides customers with 100% Satisfaction. One of the high lights of the M2Motoring wing is is that the seam is unnoticeable. And I wont get asked why is the wing like that with that seam.

I hope this topic will help make the install of this wing easier!!!

Anyone in intested in purchasing a wing contact M2Motoring.. if you in Hawaii I have them in stock!!! and no need to wait for it to be shipped!

This is the old wing that I had one for over a year!!! It was Stuck!!! Double sided 3M outdoor tape sticks very well!!

I used masking tape to mask off the paint so I dont scratch it when cutting old tape..

Next is to use a credit card or a plastic spreder to cut the Tape.. just take your time.. I used some WD40 to make thing slide more easy..

After working down the wing and cutting the tape.. you can winggle or pry the wing off.. Now the hard part is next.. Due to the wing being on the car for over a year and having the tape set in hot sun.. there going to be alot of goo stuck on the car.. Use Goo Gone, Accetone, Wax and maunal labor with your fingers to remove all Goo..

Now that the old wing is removed and all the goo gone! Now either use alcohol or accetone to remove oils and wax so that the tape sticks..

Now what I do is mark center using masking tape.. mark the body and the wing for center.. this makes it more easy to line up..

Now wipe the Wing, where you will apply the double sided tape with Alcohol or accetone.. and apply the tape... test fit to see were you might have to double up onthe tape and add onemore layer...

After you have test fit no remove the backingon the tape and you pretty much have one try at this.. so make sure you line it up right.. just stick the bad boy on and install the clips..

Now your Done!!!

I'd like a wing like that, but it's just too damn big. Maybe if it was 2 inches shorter I'd get one.

Have to ask the dumb question: is that logo imprinted onto the wing (AKA free advertising) or just a sticker that you've applied?

Also, (and please be honest) do the bracket holes have to be modified at all? The last Fab-style wing that I bought had to be modified quite a bit to get those childish brackets to fit. The inside material of the wing was too thick and the bracket was non-adjustable.

Thanks for your time.

the sticker is up to you if you want it put on.. and the hole for the clips fit good.. I kow what oyu meen abou tthe other brand wing where the hole had to be opened up..

This wing is not as thick as the other brand and you can feel the diff in the wieght of the wing.. tis one is more like a true CF wing.. Like how the hoods are made..

ALso if you have it on right you dont need those clips the tape will hold it on..

The quality on that wing is sweet. My bbist wing is very poor quality. I felt like I wasted my money on the BBist wing. I may have to upgrade to the m2 wing.

i love that wing... but im not a fan of putting a wing that big on my car with just double-sided tape!

for some reason i would think that during the summer the heat here in NC and humidity would make that wing fall off or if i go to the car wash once a week lol

does anyone know if they make that wing they had on the Scion commercial... it looked like the wing from the CELICA TRD package... the 3 piece adjustable wing

Thats why they give you the clips to hold it to your car.
