Default mounting fender flares.

well i got some carbon fender flares off ebay they made them and sent them to me.i got them for 218.00 not bad concidering they go for 400.00 so without anybody to tell me the tricks to mounting them i did it on my own.now heres a few tips incase you decide to mount some yourself.

i used pop rivots and i found out quickly that you need to use the long rivots, the short ones dont connect and you have to drill them out.pain in the butt, then make sure you tape off the area your working on real good because when the rivot pops the gun goes flying right into the side of your car scratching the paint.so apply a good amount of tape ,and remove it and stick it on the next spot as you go

if you use adhesive tape make sure its not showing anywhere before you start rivoting and just take your time.im glad i did it i think it really looks good and will help out alot while cruising down country dirt roads and the mud flaps are the best thing ive done yet .i have neons underneath and the mud flaps protect them.

haha naw man ive already done the whole lowering gig.i had air bags on a 96 chevy s10 with a 96 vette engine in it back in 97 back before people even knew what air bags were.now days i like to be able to go where ever i want i have a jacked up awesome truck 9'' lift and i cruise off road in my xb.nothing hardcore just dirt roads.my tires are 15x8 with zero offset and i have a rear hub spacer its a half inch
i like it,ive been wanting the fender flares for a while.im thinking about having a pre runner light bar made for the front just something simple round tube that makes a hoop shape.i like the rally car look.where i live theirs tons of wild hogs that run out infront of you thats why i have the super hella lights.

yeah, they are. even with spacers, i don't think they are wide enough to run flares, I think it'd take a 9" rim to get the look I was hoping for.

Relax. I wasn't even commenting on how yours looks (which i actually kinda dig the rally look you got going). I was talking with Casper (Fokai) a couple weeks back about me getting flares, but i wasn't sure how my wheels would look with them (15x8, 0 et). I said for the look I wanted, i'd need 9" rims.
