picked up a tcm grille for cheap...had some other plans for it, but just for laughs, i put it up - and started thinking it has potential... what do you guys think?

i like the look of that grill on your box you should take out the lower grils and paint them to match that would look the sh*t

Well, thanks! I'm sure the badging is a personal thing, but to me, the scion logo (both back and front) are proportionately too large for the car. Also, the square emblem flows better with the lines of the car, imo. The large elliptical scion emblems look out of place to me.

as far as where to get one, I'd say check your local clubs first, then hit ebay. This is a stock grille from a tcm (thundercloud mica). I picked this one up for $20 to the door. I had planned on a bcp-painted front face finisher on top of this, but I'm starting to like it the way it is.

 

I appreciate it! I realized that I like this grille mainly becasue of the way it 'completes' the space between the headlights. To me, the lower grilles wouldn't have this 'all the way across' effect. I thought about changing the lowers breifly, but then realized that the two lower grilles do a pretty good job of camoflaging all the dark parts behind them.

I also like the idea of color matching the middle and lower grills....would look clean.....either tcm or bcp would be fine....

Looks OK, I guess. Almost like a plastic billet grille... The FFF could work. Definitely should be in BCP if you get one.

And please, DO NOT paint your lower grilles. That would look tacky.
